Patient Participation Group

Your Surgery

This is your surgery, and the Patient Participation Group (PPG) is your platform to be involved and make positive changes. We have an amazing PRG who meet on a regular basis with representatives from the practice team. The group raise issues with the practice with the aim of working together to improve the services provided to our patients.

So if you feel we can do better, or you have had a less than satisfactory experience with the practice, or you just want to have a say in how the practice can develop, then this is your chance to get involved.

Our meetings are now online making it even easier for patients to be involved.

The meetings are short, usually less than an hour, and are not compulsory, but if you prefer not to attend meetings then you can also join our Virtual Patient Group. You can sign up and provide your contact details and we will keep you updated on the discussions and you can make contributions to the group.

The Role of the PRG Includes

· Contributing to practice decision-making and commenting on behalf of patients on the services we provide. Providing feedback on patients’ needs, concerns and interests and challenging the practice constructively whenever necessary

· Giving patients a voice in the organisation of their care

· Promoting good health and higher levels of health literacy by encouraging and supporting activities within the practice and promoting preventive medicine
